Our Team

Ravi

Ravi Guria has been a media person and film-maker for over 15 years. He has worked with a number of prestigious media and news organisations with a special focus on the development of the rural sector. Currently based in New Delhi, Ravi works with Digital Empowerment Foundation as Deputy Programme Director (Media & Communication), and constantly advices the eHeritage Project team at DEF on how to make the project bigger and better.

udita

A former journalist, Udita Chaturvedi is now a changemaker and storyteller at DEF, contributing towards enabling better access to rights for the masses as a Senior Officer (Communication & Media). With a passion for development and a flair for writing — besides her love for books, music, movies, sitcoms and travelling — Udita looks after the eHeritage Project as a curator, researcher and editor. She is also actively involved in organising the various eHeritage events.

Tushar

Passionate about working in conflict areas as a photographer, Tushar Talukdar is Gandhi Fellow who has studied Applied Economics from Christ University in Bengaluru. Born and raised in Siliguri, Tushar is a dreamer and a painter who chooses to ignore the negative in people. Currently based in New Delhi as a Senior Project Executive at DEF, Tushar loves reading and travelling. He contributes photographs and articles for the eHeritage Project.

Ami

Amit Jha has been working as a Software Developer at Digital Empowerment Foundation for the last two years. With a degree in Masters in Computer Application, he works on several projects of DEF, including the eHeritage Project website — which means he often has to deal with Udita annoying him for something or the other related to the website. When he is not working, Amit can be seen chit-chatting in the design team or riding his bike.

Jaspreet Singh Saini is a true Punjabi in and out, settled in New Delhi. A Senior Creative Executive at Digital Empowerment Foundation, Jaspreet — better known as Jassu — handles all creatives, including posters banners and mailers, for the eHeritage Project. He has also designed the logo of the project. A lover of coffee, cafes and food, Jassu can be seen listening to music or watching Bhangra videos on his desktop when he’s not working in office.

abner

Seventeen-year-old Abner Manzar is a travel enthusiast who relishes the untraveled roads of the country. An avid cyclist, Abner has been vouching for a cycling lane in Delhi, and has minutely covered many lanes and bylanes in the city.His most recent achievement has been cycling to Alwar from Delhi. As an intern with the eHeritage Project, Abner helps create a reservoir of information, in the form of text and videos, on Old Delhi.

mubeen

Born in Saudi Arabia and raised in Hyderabad, Mubeen Siddiqui is a visual researcher, photographer and storyteller with an MA in Photojournalism from the University of Westminster. Currently based in New Delhi as a freelance photographer, Mubeen has worked with Digital Empowerment Foundation as a Picture & Content Editor for two years. Apart from managing the eHeritage Fellowship programme and co-curating the eHeritage website, he regularly contributed photo stories to the project.
